Summer J. Hart will be in town from New York on a book release tour for her debut collection, Boomhouse, newly out from our friends The 3rdThing , an Olympia-based publisher of necessary alternatives. She'll be joined by Alissa Hattman, who's debut novel, Sift, is also newly out on 3rdThing; Bill Carty, who has a new collection, We Sailed on the Lake, out on Bunny Press; Roxi Power, up from Santa Cruz with her freshly minted collection, The Songs That Objects Would Sing, from Finishing Line Press; Emma Carson, who's debut collection, The Divide Itself is fresh off the press at Chat Rooms Bks; and Ankober Yewondwossen, who was recently featured in The Seattle Times profile of our city's vibrant poetry scene.
