An Honorable Harvest: a night of ceremony and poetry

Friday, August 4, 2023 at 2:00:00 AM UTC

Seattle Theosophical Library, Broadway East, Seattle, WA, USA

HonorableHarvest

Peoples around the globe have honored and celebrated the midpoint-points between the solstices and equinoxes with festivals and ceremony. In Ireland, the cross-quarter day of Summer (early august) goes by the name Lughnasadh (pronounced (lew-nah-sah), in honor of the deity Lugh who seizes the hoarded treasure of the gods and returns it for everyone to partake of. Join Margin Shift at the Theosophical Library as we join with poets of many spiritual practices to celebrate the  sustenance of the earth and the gifts  from ancestors that can't be contained/hoarded by any religion, corporation, or megalomaniacal oligarch.
